………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Hi Friends! I hope all of you had a fantastic Easter weekend! THANK YOU to everyone who is hopping on by and leaving comments. I have had so much fun reading all of your “Impromptu Makeover” stories and first experiences with scissors. LOL!

Today I wanted to share with you a few projects I did for the Cricut Circle Blog awhile back. The Cricut Circle is a Membership Program for people passionate about their Cricut Machines and it is so much fun! If you would like to find out more you can visit the Circle Information page HERE on the Cricut.com website.

Provo Craft makes a at-home screenprinting machine called the Yudu. I LOOOVE this thing! It is sooo much fun! I wanted to share with you the first project I made with it. My daughter goes to Preschool and every couple of weeks she gets her turn to bring home the Show-and-Tell bag. I was noticing that this bag had seen better days and decided that it would be fun to surprise Camryn’s Preschool teacher with a set of NEW Show-and-Tell totebags. I decided to customize them for her for Christmas and came up with a design using a free downloadable dingbat font from the internet.

My daughter chose the colors of yellow, royal blue, and teal . . . a color scheme I thought would work perfectly for both boys and girls! When I stopped by Michael’s to pick up the tote bags, I noticed they were having a sale on t-shirts. 😀 I couldn’t help but make matching t-shirts for her classmates. We gave them to them for Christmas and they all really loved the surprise. Yay! I will admit . . . it was a little ambitious of me to attempt a three-color project on my first try . . . but I enjoyed the challenge! LOL!

For New Year’s I created this Countdown Can for the Cricut Circle Blog. I know we are way past New Year’s, but I think it is an idea you could adapt for several holidays or events. The idea is that there is an envelope for every hour leading up to Midnight. Inside the envelopes are activity and game ideas that a family or group of friends could do together. I also made a coordinating New Year’s Party Crown.

SUPPLIES: Cricut Expression Machine, Gypsy Device, Slumber Party Lite Cartridge, Martha Stewart Crafts Seasonal Cake Art Cartridge, Graphically Speaking Cartridge, Independence Day Cartridge, Shall We Dance Cartridge (Cricut Circle Exclusive Cartridge); Cardstock: American Crafts,Bazzill Basics; Patterned Papers, Buttons, Thickers and Ribbons: American Crafts Dear Lizzy Christmas Collection; Paint Can: Provo Craft; Adhesives: Provo Craft Terifically Tacky Tape, Scotch ATG, Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive, Imaginisce I-Bond; Other: Headband, Ribbon, Embroidery Floss

Thanks for stopping by! See you again soon!
