PAJAMA PARTY

All three of my daughters have attended the same Preschool with the same Preschool teacher. They usually celebrate the end of the school year with a Water Party, but our weather has been so wet and rainy this year, that they had to switch it to a Pajama Party instead. Camryn didn’t seem to mind one bit and spent three days deciding which pair of pajamas to wear and what “friend” she was going to take along for the fun! 🙂

GAME GIRLS

Okay, we admit it . . . we have a bit of an obsession with our tech-y toys in this household. Mom and Dad are always on their iPhones, Mom on her Gypsy Design Device, and the kids can usually be found with their Nintendo DS game devices or iTouch. Please tell me your house is like this, too. LOL! Definitely a sign of this generation. Heee!

I had to giggle when I looked in the Family Room and saw my three daughters immersed in each of their games while sitting together on the couch. I love how the castle embellishment carries out the Princess-y theme of the games my girls are usually playing. 🙂

PILLOW PET PARTY

Do you have a pillow pet zoo at your house, too? My little one can not get enough of them. She loves to haul them all over the house setting up tea parties & snacks for them, and even sets them up in front of the TV, so they can all watch a show together. She even tucks them all in at night with their own blankets. Camryn loves it when her siblings are at school because she can add *their* pillow pets to the mix. Gotta love the imaginations of four-year-olds! 😀

IT’S UP TO YOU

I’m so proud of Jensyn. She decided to run for 8th grade student office this year . . . and made it! Yeah! She is the new 8th Grade President! She decided to use the movie “UP” as her campaign theme, “It’s UP to us!” I was really impressed with Jensyn as she put together her presentation folder, video, posters, and got ready for her interview. That alone would have discouraged me at her age. I think it was more of an intense process than most adults go through to get a job! Her presentation folder had to include a theme (the reasoning behind it explained in detail), outlined plans and sketches for two lunch time activities for the entire school, an outlined service project for the entire school, an outlined assembly activity, and her feelings behind wanting to be an officer. She wrote it all herself. It was a lot of work, and I told her, that even if she didn’t make it, the process alone would give her great experience in practicing for future job interviews.

Of course, I couldn’t wait to scrapbook her pictures using the UP theme myself! (That’s just the scrapbooker in me. LOL!) I used cloud paper and a balloons in happy colors. Too fun! And I have to say, I ADORE the Pebbles Inc. Happy Go Lucky collection . . . definitely a new favorite! 😀
