BasicGrey Aspen Frost Blog Hop!

Welcome to the BasicGrey Aspen Frost Blog Hop!  You should have arrived here from the blog of name SHANNON TIDWELL.

Charming and familiar, wild and sweet, a juxtaposition of Christmas past and present, Aspen Frost by BasicGrey holds all the joy and tradition of a homespun holiday. In neutral birch, iced cranberry, red hot cinnamon, dazzling white, glacier blue and green apple, Aspen Frost is the comfort and blessing of yummy pies, sparkling drinks and a warm flame burning in the hearth.

SUPPLIES: Aspen Frost Collection: Collection Pack, Element Stickers, Printed Chipboard, Die Cut Shapes. Other: Cardstock (brown), Brown Twine, Black Journaling Pen, Foam Square, Adhesives, Trimmer.

I love the warmth and traditional feel of the Aspen Frost collection. I had a lot of fun playing with the Die Cut Shapes, Chipboard Stickers and Stickers on this page, tucking them here and there behind my photo grouping. I used the long chipboard banner as my title and to connect my photos together. The stamp shaped journal die cut had the phrase “Ho Ho Ho” on it, which didn’t exactly go with the photos on this page, so I layered a sticker over the top of it with a foam square.

My favorite element on this page are the chipboard ornaments. I hung them from the top of my page using a bit of brown and white twine from my stash.

  1. I LOVE the diagonal, striped paper you used in your layout! I don’t know what exactly I’d use it for, but it would make it’s way to several projects at my house!
