Welcome to the BasicGrey, Glue Dots, and Lindy’s Stamp Gang Blog Hop! If you are just joining us, be sure to begin at the Glue Dots Blog and hop your way through to see all of the amazing projects!

Today I have a layout to share with you featuring the BRAND NEW BasicGrey Carte Postale collection along with lots of Glue Dots adhesive and Lindy’s Stamp Gang products. I had so much fun adding details to this one …

Let’s take a closer look at some of the details.

First, I need to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to BasicGrey, Glue Dots, and Lindy’s Stamp Gang for the goodies you sent my way for me to play with. I had soooo much fun creating with them on this page!

I began my page by spritzing the background with Lindy’s Stamp Gang Starburst Mist in “Jack in the Pulpit Teal.”

Background

Oh. My. Goodness! The colors and shimmer of these sprays are AMAZING! They are unlike anything I have ever used before. I think this is my new favorite mist color! I mean, look how incredible it looks spritzed on the die cut title!

TitleCloseUp

I didn’t stop there … Next, I used Lindy’s Stamp Gang Starburst Mist in “Opal Sea Oats” to paint the edges of my paper layers. It adds a bit of shine, but also makes them look a little timeworn at the same time. Love it!

Edges

I wanted to use a few of the BasicGrey Carte Postale Wood Veneer Die Cuts on my page, but decided to make them POP a little bit more by painting them with more Lindy’s Stamp Gang Starburst Mists. This time I used “Grab a Guy Gold.”

Paint

Now that all of my pieces are ready it’s time to assemble the page. I have been using Glue Dots for years! They are perfect for adhering all kinds of things to your pages. They sure came in handy when I wanted to add the transparencies to this page. The clear glue lines blended right in with the design on the transparencies and you can hardly tell they are there!

GlueLines

I used the Mini Glue Dots to adhere the wood pieces to my page.
