Stash Busting: First Day of First Grade

Happy Thursday, Friends! I’m back with one more Stash-Buster using the October 2012 kit from Noel Mignon (Student Council Kit). This was actually the first page I created with this kit … I mean, can you blame me for reaching for that Jenni Bowlin die cut Stencil Background sheet first?!

I used the Jenni Bowlin Number Stamp stickers as part of my title here. And then I couldn’t resist cutting out the typewriter from the Dewey Decimal paper with the letter “C” for this page (my daughter’s initial), even though she probably doesn’t even know what a typewriter is. *giggle* I love typewriters … Note to self: This fall look for a typewriter for your office. 🙂

Yes, I know that typewriters are inanimate objects, but I think they have lots of personality … which means they “speak” to me and are definitely worthy of super-cute, wood speech bubbles accenting them. *wink* 🙂

Thanks for popping in today! I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!

  1. Jana I love this! I’m really enjoying your stash busting. I LOVE using older product. I loved it when I bought it…and I still LOVE it! I teach first grade so there isn’t much time to scrap during the school year:( I do find myself lifting your work often! Happy New School Year to your beautiful family!
