Happy Wednesday, Friends! Today I am up on the BasicGrey blog with a fun technique using the amazing new Mon Ami collection. While helping my girls to stuff envelopes for their schoolmates for Valentine’s Day I started thinking it would be fun to create a page background full of lots of colorful mini envelopes. I pulled out the 6×6 paper pad and created my own envelopes. Stop by the BasicGrey blog today for full instructions and a diagram to help you with the scoring/folding measurements.
LAST DAY
SUPPLIES
- BasicGrey Mon Ami Collection: 6×6 Paper Pad, Element Stickers, Title Stickers
- BasicGrey Herbs & Honey Collection: Kraft & White Chipboard Alphabet Letters
- BasicGrey Capture Collection: Vellum Tape
- Other: Kraft cardstock, Navy Solid Paper, White Cotton String, Black Journaling Pen, Trimmer, Scissors, Martha Stewart Scoring Board, Adhesive, Sewing Machine with white thread
Filling the envelopes was so much fun! I used cornstarch on the back of the stickers to take away the stick so that I could arrange and play with them before tacking them into their final spots.
Thanks for coming by!
