Writing Valentines

It is serious business to put together Valentines here at our house. If you have a variety of designs in your Valentine card pack, you have to take the time to look at each one and choose which one best fits the person you are giving it to. Then you have to carefully write out the recipients name, write your name, and then choose a couple of heart stickers. But the heart stickers can’t be TOO lovey-dovey, or else the person might think you have a crush on them … only save the lovey-dovey stickers for the boys that you actually DO have a crush on … and then hope that they can “read between the lines” and know that you want to marry them some day. 😀

Here is a page about my cutie Cam writing out her Valentines last year using more amazing cut files from SVG Cuts and the Noel Mignon February 2014 Book of Love Kit. The full instructions and dimensions for this page can be found on the SVG Cuts Blog HERE.

I have discovered that pink cardstocks are really hard to match. I ended up creating my own shimmery pink cardstock for the bear by spritzing white cardstock with the Heidi Swapp Blush shimmer spray that was included in the February Noel Mignon kit. These photos make it look like the pinks are off from each other, but in real life, they go together quite well. 🙂 I love that I was able to use one of the heart enamel stickers from the kit as a shiny nose for the bear.

I adore the scallops around these letters. Don’t forget to grab this file for yourself … it’s free to download RIGHT HERE in the freebie section at SVG Cuts.

As always, don’t forget to check out this week’s Free Gift with $9.98 purchase at SVG Cuts … the Honeybee Tee SVG Collection (I’m swooning over that darling tea pot, pretty gift box, and cake pop container … WOW!).
