Downtown Disney

Last time we visited Disneyland I took several snapshots of my kids getting into the “vacation spirit” as we browsed Downtown Disney. (gotta love my goofy son pretending to be a Disney Channel star. Hehe!) I wanted to combine all of these photos onto one page, but was worried about how chaotic all the different colors might feel together. I decided to frame each picture with the kraft Jillibean Soup polaroid frames included in the March 2014 Noel Mignon Wishing Well Kit. The neutral color of the frames was perfect at keeping all the color in the photos contained in nice little squares, and this page actually came together quite nicely.

I arranged the frames into three rows. The top two rows are anchored by strips of striped patterned paper, that also serve as a baseline for my title letters.

 

I cut the mouse ears using my Silhouette Cameo machine. I found an image online and then used the trace feature in the Silhouette program to make it into a cut file. The mouse ears are embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder and adhered with foam dots for lots of dimension.

 

I don’t use a lot of glitter in my scrapping, but here it is perfect! It helps to add that special, magical Disney feel to this page, don’t ya think?!

 

Each photo was numbered using the My Mind’s Eye stickers that were included in the kit. At the bottom of the page, I placed a journal strip with correlating numbers explaining what was going on in each of the photos.
