More Pocket Cards on Traditional Pages

The weekend is here! Do you have anything fun planned? Are you planning on doing any scrapping? I am! I’m also hoping to convince the family to go on a fall picnic in the mountains … crossing my fingers they’ll all be up for it! The leaves haven’t started to change on the trees in town, but every night on the news viewers are sending in pictures of the gorgeous views up in the mountains. It’s making me itch to get up there and enjoy it! 🙂

But before I break for the weekend, I thought I would share with you a couple more block-style scrapbook page designs using the All-Occasion Title Card Scrapbooking set.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

One thing I never purge are my holiday papers and embellishments. They always mix together so wonderfully! Here, I used the All-Occasion Title Cards to add new life to an older collection that was hanging out in my stash.

In the top right corner of my page, I used one of the dimensional cards as is (I really liked all of the Halloween words and the fact that some of the words were already popped up on the card). Next. I cut out the green “Happy Halloween 31” banner from another card, wrapped twine around the top, and then added a strip of black polka dot paper so that its height would “match up” with the other card. The spider dangling from the upper left corner was cut from yet another card.

At the bottom, I used a horizontal 3×4 card for my  journal block. The photo on the right needed a little something, so I trimmed the “Spooktacular” word strip from another card, added it to the bottom, accenting it with a flair badge.

 FAMILY IS THE BEST GIFT

More 3×4 cards get stacked on top of each other to the right of the focal photo. I decided to cut out the “Ho! Ho! Ho” words from another card and add it to the journal card. A bit of pen-stitching and embellishments accent the Title card.

I cut the “Merry Christmas” words from the same card as the “Ho! Ho! Ho!” word strip, notched the ends and placed it at the bottom of the page to accent the three smaller photos.

Thanks so much for coming by today! I hope you have a great weekend!
