Noel Mignon: Christmas Concoction with a Free Download

Happy Thursday! I should be out Christmas shopping this week, but I can’t stop playing with my Noel Mignon Mistletoe & Holly kit!

I love the variety of color combinations possible with this kit. For the page below I pulled out the mint, aqua, red, and pink colors. Tomorrow I will share a page using a more traditional color palette of red and green.

CAMRYN’S CHRISTMAS CONCOCTION

My daughters have a fascination with mixing up potions in the kitchen. Whether it’s flavored lemonades, popsicles, or flavored hot cocoa, they have fun experimenting. Last Christmas, my daughter had an egg nog “specialty” that I wanted to record.

You can make it, too! *wink* Simply take egg nog, add whipped cream to the top, then add color with some Christmas sprinkles. Finally, it MUST be finished off with a chocolate kiss! Enjoy!

I created a trio of circles in the bottom right corner of the photos using the two snowflake rosettes and circle tag from the kit. It was a great place to record Cam’s special “recipe.” Hehe!

My daughter was wearing her Christmas penguin pajamas in these photos. The penguin was so bright and fun that I decided to recreate him on the page holding his own special drink. He’s so cute!

The penguin I used is by Lettering Delights Bird Buddies set. The drink is from the Cricut Love You a Latte cartridge. I also created the die cut square stamp shape in the background using an image from the Lettering Delights Peppermint Holiday Expressions set.
