Happy Weekend, Friends! While I was shopping the Target Dollar spot one day, I came across some USA letters … my home was in need of a little bit more red, white, and blue, so I brought them home to liven up the place. I decided to spruce them up even more by decorating them with the Echo Park Paper Sweet Liberty Mini collection.
My favorite little icon from this collection is the paper boat sticker! How cute is that little guy?! I placed him on the letter “S” front and center! It also inspired me to die cut a little paper boat shelf-sitter to go next to my letters.
I found the paper boat in the Silhouette Design Store (Design #59900 by Sweet Afton). I used the stickers and cut-aparts from the collection to make the little flags. The pole in the center of the boat was created using a wooden caramel apple stick (found at the grocery store or in the food crafts section of craft stores).
I wanted the letters to have a bit more interest and dimension to them, so I cut strips of the red/white striped “Sweet Fireworks” paper and “Journaling Cards” paper to create rosettes for each one. I layered them up with various circle and pinked/scalloped circles from my stash and the darling stickers from this set.
I love these letters! They were the perfect project to brighten up our decor for the holiday.
