I decided to use the Memento inks Imagine Crafts sent to me along with a couple of my favorite Echo Park stamp sets to create a Halloween page today.
HELLO CANDY
The minute my kids get home from trick-or-treating, they sit down to trade each other for their favorite treats and count up their loot. The Echo Park Paper Halloween collection was perfect for this one, with it’s bright colors and spooky critters!
For the title, I used the “hello” word from the Sentiments Stamp along with the adorable Logan Alphabet stamp set. The “hello” is stamped in Memento Espresso Truffle ink and the word “candy” is stamped in Memento Pear Tart ink.
The spiderweb and friendly spider from the Spiderweb & Spider Die set are the perfect accents! The “October 31st” banner was handcut from the 3×4 Journaling Cards paper.
I used the Memento Espresso Truffle ink to ink the edges of all of my page elements, including the die cut Jolly Jack-O-Lantern pumpkins at the bottom of the page.
To bring the spider die cuts to life, I added a white crochet string “web” to each one, stringing it over the top of the page, so that the spiders appear to be dangling there.
I also added mini black pearl stickers to give them eedy-beedy, shiny eyes.
I wish you could get a real feel for the AWESOME Black foil dot paper I used for the background. It is the perfect base for this spooky-feeling page.
SUPPLIES: Echo Park Paper Halloween Collection, Black Foil Dots Collection Kit, 3×4 Journaling Cards Paper, Little Monsters Paper, Halloween Stripes Paper, 4×6 Journaling Cards Paper, Jolly Jack-O-Lantern Die Set, Spiderweb & Spider Die Set, Sentiments Stamp Set, Logan Alphabet Stamp Set, Memento Espresso Truffle Ink, Memento Pear Tart Ink, Hole Punch, White Crochet Twine, Cardstock (black, orange, green, white), Black Pearl Stickers, Makeup Sponge, Manual Die Cut Machine, Foam Squares, Adhesive, Scissors, Trimmer, Black Journaling Pen
What types of Halloween pages are you creating these days?! Do you have any traditions that need documenting in your family scrapbooks?
Thanks for coming by today! I hope you enjoyed seeing how I incorporated stamping into this page. Be sure to check out what the rest of the designers have made for the hop!
Love the Halloween page! I haven’t ever visited your blog before today, glad I did I will be back more 🙂

I do have a Halloween album that I add pages too every year. Our tradition is to decorate with a giant spiderweb across our front porch with spiders on it. And go to the pumpkin patch for hayrides, apple picking, and getting our pumpkins. Then trick or treating on Halloween night. Loved your page with all the layers, details, patterns, and cute spiders. Just great.

Great page! I hardly ever create Halloween pages anymore, since my kids are now teenagers and I can’t get any good pics of them trick-or-treating anymore. Usually the pics I do get make it into a Project Life-style pocket page, though, so that counts, right? 😉
Black foil-dot paper, huh? Sounds yummy! Can’t tell in the pic, but I’m sure it’s a great effect IRL.

It’s been a long time since my kids were collecting candy on Halloween. (they’re in their 50s and I won’t mention my age). For many years I would fix a big dinner (chili, tamales, all the fixings, pumpkin pie) and we’d sit outside with the firepit and hand out candy. Either the number of kids
in the neighborhood have decreased or kids aren’t coming out so I’ve discontinued that tradition.
I miss seeing the few kids that did come around but the times change. I’ve never scrapbooked
any of those nights – wish I had because some of the people who came to eat are no longer with us.
thanks for sharing your wonderful layout.
