This week on the Noel Mignon blog, we are scrapping with leaves!
Last year when my daughter went to her school’s Halloween dance, she and her date dressed up as Indiana Jones and Marion. To make a long story short, I didn’t end up with any photos of her and her date, but I *AM* grateful to have these pictures of my daughter in her costume.
I was grateful for the fall papers included with the “Falloween” kit this month because they had touches of red … the color of my daughter’s “Marion” outfit. They worked out perfectly for this page!
I used the fall leaf doily included with the kit as part of my background, layered on top of the golden yellow leaf paper.
I love that the Thicker letter stickers in this kit look like wood … I added punched leaves to the letters at the beginning of each word to give them a woodland feel.
I created a few embellishment clusters around the page, using the flowers, rubber charms, and a cut out pumpkin from one of the journaling cards … all from the Falloween Daily Diary kit. The wood veneers are from the Falloween Classic kit.
Another cluster adorns the journaling, with more punched leaves. So cute!
Don’t feel like you have to stick with the traditional orange and black for all of your Halloween pages … your photos might look better with a different color scheme! Give it a try!
