Carta Bella Paper: A Gift Box that is Sew Cute!

I love creating unique gift boxes to wow my friends and family. I have several people in my life who sew and couldn’t wait to use the Carta Bella Metropolitan Girl collection to create this adorable sewing machine gift box.

I cut the body of the sewing machine using the City Flowers Paper. I love the flowers on this paper! It looks like fancy embroidery … perfect fit for the sewing theme. The bottom and end pieces are cut using the Let’s Shop Paper.

All of the girly accents in this collection are so perfect for the women in our lives! I accented the base of the machine with a strip of the Show Lover striped paper to add more color and then created a fun cluster of elements as a decorative focal point. I love the “Happy Girl” quote by Audrey Hepburn, trimmed from the Affirmations Paper.

I can’t wait to add some goodies and a gift card into the box in the base to give to someone special.
