Carta Bella: Creating an Out of This World Lunch Box!

The Carta Bella Space Academy collection reminded me of that bygone era of metal lunch boxes decorated with a child’s favorite hero. The adorable space cadets were just perfect to use as the focal point of this project!
I used the lunch box cut file from the Miss Baker’s Classroom SVG Set by SVGCuts.com.
The front of the box has an acetate window allowing a mysterious peek at the yummy contents inside. I created a dimensional scene on the front of the window by using a combination of the the Ephemera die cuts, Tags & Frames Ephemera Die cuts, and several of the stickers popped up on different layers of foam squares. I added gems to the centers of the star stickers for a little twinkle.

The attached lid closes by latching onto a raised, silver brad. The hinged handle is also constructed with brads. I love the way the silver accents add an authentic, industrial look to this project!

Boys of all ages would get a kick out of this project. It would make a really fun party favor for your space rangers, as well. Have fun creating!

      1. Hi Laney! You can find it on Scrapbook.com or ACherryOnTop.com … or maybe another favorite retailer of yours. Search “Carta Bella Space Academy”. I hope that helps!
