Last year my daughter graduated from high school. What better way to scrapbook her graduation photo than to add a touch of the celebration to this page with the New Queen and Company Balloons Shaker Kit?!
Her high school colors are red and gray, but I die cut the balloon shapes in black to help them stand out fom everything else on the page. I filled the balloons with red Sparklers and several red toppings (sequin sprinkles, diamonds). I included the color gray, too, by adding in a dash of dark gray Neutral Pearlies Topping.
For the background, I punched several hexagon shapes from red and gray papers from the mat stacks. I then added a red flower buttons.
I brought the black color to the right side of the page by accenting her photo with a few of the stars from the Magic Ears Epoxy Icons set. I adhered the open star on the red Simple Stripes mat stack paper, and then cut around the sticker with scissors. The stars are accented by a sprinkling of white Petite Posies.
I cut the title for the page out of black cardstock using an electronic die cutting machine and then accented it with more epoxy stars and petite posies.
Finally, I accented all four edges of my layout with the silver skinny glitter tape.
