Sugar and spice and everything nice …. that’s what the Rock A Bye Baby Girl collection is made of!
The sweetness of this baby collection by Carta Bella Paper has me itching to pull out photos of my children when they were younger and get the photos scrapped that I have been neglecting for FAR too long.
When my kids were younger I would take a photo of them each month next to a favorite stuffed animal so that we could compare how they grew and changed each month. These photos of my daughter are from when she was three months old. (Awww, my cutie-Cam, with her sweet cheeks!)
I stitched together a few of the banner stickers to adorn the corner of the design. I added the circular “Cute as a Button” sticker on top of the striped pennant with a foam square for a bit more dimension. The stitching around the edges of the paper remind me of all the homemade quilts, burp pads, and gifts that always come along with having a sweet new baby in the house.
The mini paper fan layered up with stickers and die cuts in the center of the page adds all kinds of fun dimension. I LOVE the new Mini Paper Fans!
Across the page, I added the rocking horse trimmed from the 3×4 Journaling Cards Paper along with a few stickers and the hearts from the new Enamel Shapes stickers. Underneath you can see a few patterned paper strips layered up over the top of a strip of vellum paper embossed with the Petite Bows Embossing Folder. Those sweet little bows are so perfect for a project about a sweet baby girl!
This page has so much fun texture! From the stitching, to the mini paper fans, to the popped up elements, shiny enamel shapes, and the embossed vellum … it was a lot of fun to put together!
