Scrapbook Page: Hello Beautiful

I have really been trying to get the most out of the Shimelle Little by Little collection papers I purchased a few months ago. I have created 5 layouts with it and am sharing the last of those pages with you today. Here we go!

My daughter was feeling bored with her hair … like really bored … but she didn’t want to cut it or do anything TOO drastic. We ended up letting her dye a little purple streak underneath at the nape of her neck … and you know what?! I LOVED it on her! It was hidden and “professional” looking when she wore her hair down, but showed her spunky “sassy” side when she revealed it in a ponytail.

She no longer has it now that she is off at college, but we had to record this fun phase with a scrapbook page!

I placed each of the photos on a white cardstock mat, leaving the bottom edge a bit longer to mimic the look of a polaroid photo. I then tied black and white baker’s twine around the bottom of each one.

I used the “hello” die cut from the Ephemera Pack, and placed both the title and the journaling on a large tag I created from white cardstock.

I added a bit of washi tape to the top of the two smaller photos. The fussy-cut flowers connect the bottom half of the page to the two photos at the top.

A few chipboard phrase stickers by Freckled Fawn and some older Pebbles button sticker embellishments add some dimension.
