I’m up on the Echo Park Paper Blog today with a bright and colorful two-page layout.
I have so many birthday photos waiting to be scrapbooked. Last summer my daughter celebrated her birthday by having her close friends over for a backyard luau. The vibrant colors and tropical icons of the Echo Park Paper Summer Fun collection were a perfect choice for this fun get-together!

I had a blast creating the flower clusters using the Summer Bloom Die Set and then using the tropical palm leaves of the Tropical Palms Die Set to accent them. They are beautiful and add such a fun pop to this two-page layout!

I also used the tropical leaves to accent my photos …

and add more interest to the chipboard floral piece at the top of this photo.

The toucan sits on a die cut branch above the title here.

The letters for the title were cut using the Lindsay Uppercase Alphabet die. I cut two colors of each letter for a shadow effect.
I added the chipboard banner pieces to a length of black and white baker’s twine for a fun accent to go underneath my main photo on the right page of the layout.
