Carta Bella Paper: Never Grow Up Layout

Hi, Everyone! The Carta Bella Toy Box collection not only takes me back to the days when I was younger, but also when my kids were younger. I giggled when I saw the Magic Toy Room paper because it reminded me exactly how my son’s room looked when he was a little boy.

Today I used this collection to document my son’s 12th birthday. The Toy Banner paper was so much fun to fussy-cut and use as a decorative element across my page.

I popped the banner pieces up on foam squares to give the page some depth and then added several of the chipboard pieces and gem brads from the Decorative Brads set for even more texture.

I even added a banner across my journaling block.

At the top of the page, I added a chipboard phrase and then embellished it with the Decorative Brads. The large chipboard circle accent is adhered to a red button. I love the way this looks! It’s such a fun way to frame out those chipboard circle pieces!

I did the same thing with another red button at the bottom of the page.
The “Never Grow Up” chipboard phrase acts as the title on this page. To the left of it I added one of the darling Mini Paper Fans.

I love the way this one came together. The Toy Box collection was perfect for documenting these birthday photos! I think I will use it again to scrapbook my son blowing out the candles on the cake!
