Echo Park Paper: Wicked & Witch-y Gift Box

I’m always on the look out for fun ways to give a gift to someone … and this witch’s boot is what I have up my sleeve for this coming Halloween. Inspired by the spooky framed witches from the Carta Bella Haunted House collection, I couldn’t wait to put this one together!

I used the Ghastly Words paper with the spiderwebs for the main body of the boot and then added in pops of color with the Mad Scientist’s Laboratory (orange) and Haunted Hats Paper (purple diamonds) on the top of the shoe. A fluffy green ribbon ties the shoe closed and adds yet another pop of fun color!

I wanted the sole of the shoe to really stand out, so I chose to cut it using the Halloween Letters paper with it’s fun multi-colored stripes!

The heel of this shoe is so sexy with it’s tantalizing curves! It looks great in the purple diamond of the Haunted Hats paper.

The heel accent is cut from the orange Mad Scientist’s Laboratory paper and receives some dimensional detail with a series of black, glittery mini brads.

I cut the witch frame from the Portrait Gallery Paper to use as the main decorative element on this boot. The broom, crow, potion bottle, bats, and Trick or Treat stickers from the Sticker Sheet really add a festive flair.

Tuck some treats inside, along with some colorful tissue paper for a haunting gift! What a fun treat to give this coming Halloween!
