Echo Park Paper: Pumpkin Muffin Tote

Happy Fall, friends! The minute the weather turns cool my family and I start craving pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. We always make several batches; some of the batches are for us to eat, but then we also like to make additional batches to take to our friends in the neighborhood.

This year I used the A Perfect Autumn collection by Echo Park Paper to create a darling tote to package up our muffins. The tote fits 9 muffins stacked in three rows inside a cellophane bag perfectly, and is sooo much cuter than a zip-top bag!

I created a tag for this bag by trimming one of the 3×4 Journaling Cards to a smaller size. I then notched the top two corners to create a tag shape.

These would be so easy to make ahead of time to have on hand. I used three different patterned papers for my totes and then used the Leaves & Acorn Die Set and the Carta Bella Hello Fall Layered Pumpkin Die Set to decorate the front.

I varied each bag a bit by using different tags and elements to accent the die cut pumpkins and leaves. On the polka dotted bag, I fussy-cut the word “FALL” from one of the 3×4 cut apart Journaling Cards.

Next, I added the squirrel and leaf sticker from the Element Stickers. I used a small chipboard circle with an acorn to accent the squirrel and added a sprinkling of brads above his head for some dimension.

The orange gingham bag is decorated with several more Element Stickers clustered together. I then added the Fox tag from the Frames & Tags Ephemera pack to the handle.

Don’t those muffins look delicious peeking out!

What fall treats do you make at your house each year? Do you ever package up a few and give them away as gifts?

    1. Hi, Lee! I’m so sorry … I totally forgot to add the cut file information to the bottom of the post! Thanks for letting me know! 😉 I have updated it now … but here is a link for you. I used a cut file from the Silhouette Design Store, Design #55259 (https://www.silhouettedesignstore.com/view-shape/55259) If you have another die cutting machine, you can still purchase the SVG file to use with other cutting machines by checking the box just above the “Add to Cart” button that says “Purchase SVG Bundle”. Hope that helps! Have a great week! 🙂

  1. Yay! Jana, the totes are cute. Ordering 6 for me with muffins, plus the witch stick thingies for the cupcakes you posted a few days ago. Ha Ha. Well done, yet again.
