Delivering delicious, homemade treats to neighbors and friends is one of those iconic holiday traditions that I adore. If you are going to take the time to take a treat, why not package them in an adorable way while you are at it?!

I created this stocking shaped box using the ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas collection and the stocking box cut file by SVG Cuts (Christmas Cafe set).

I used the Dk. Blue/Gold Solid Paper for the bottom of the box, and then created the top with patterned papers from the Volume 2 Collection.
The window allows a peek inside to the homemade goodies. You can use several types of materials for the window; re-purposed clear packaging, a sheet protector, or a transparency. I chose to use a heavy-weight clear presentation report cover. These can be purchased at your local office supply or copy store.

The top of the stocking is decorated with die cuts from the Ephemera and Frames & Tags Ephemera packs. I also used the Jolly Branch Trio Die set to cut several pine branches from a green 6×6 patterned paper. They look so festive mixed in with the poinsettia and greenery handcut from the Berry Christmas paper.

The die cuts have added dimension with a few of the small chipboard word stickers and the shiny enamel dots. The gold glitter enamel dot made the perfect flower center for the poinsettia!

At the bottom of the stocking I created a pennant strip from 6×6 patterned papers to anchor the “Noel” chipboard piece. A couple of handcut pinecones from the Berry Christmas paper are the perfect accents!

Everyone loves homebaked goods during the holidays! This stocking box would be the perfect way to deliver them. I hope you feel inspired to create your own holiday treat packaging!
