My daughters LOVE to go to the hair salon. With three daughters we make an afternoon out of it and schedule all of our hair appointments together at the same time. Camryn is the youngest and has learned to be patient while waiting for the rest of us, but when she was a little younger, she used to entertain herself with a selfie or two on my phone.
Today’s page features one of those cute selfies of herself admiring her new do! 🙂
I used a sheet of notebook paper I had in my stash for the base (my LAST sheet of Scenic Route! *sniff, sniff*). I was getting down to scraps of the Little by Little collection at this point, so I had fun layering them up behind my photo.
I used a strip of purple Bella Blvd. Easter paper across the top along with the floral border sticker from the Cardstock Stickers Pack.
I thought the Lion was a fun icon to use on this page … since we were getting our “manes” done up that day. Haha!
I pulled some alphabets from my stash for the title. The pink letters are by Sassafras Lass and the blue chipboard letters are by Bella Blvd. I added a puffy heart sticker by Freckled Fawn to the center of the letter “a” and then did some stamping underneath.
Those cute vellum star stickers are by Studio Calico and have been waiting to be loved on for a long time! They look so cute here!
This second page also features the Shimelle Little by Little collection. I scrapbooked a page with this photo a couple of week ago, but wanted to make another page so that both of my daughters could have this page in their school album.
Again, I used a notebook style paper for the base of my layout. (This one is by Teresa Collins Designs from my stash.)
I love these little clouds … especially with the little sparkly, gems on them!
A die cut flower cluster gets a bit of POP when layered on top of an intricate doily.
I cut the title words from the Encourage Wonder paper. I hope designers do more papers like this one! I have had so much fun cutting out the words for several page titles now! I added the key and lock die cuts together using a bit of white twine.
I created this embellishment cluster on it’s own before adding it to this page … in fact, I initially had intended for it to go on a card, but it worked great here!
Thanks for coming by! Enjoy your weekend!
