Happy Tuesday, Scrappy Friends!
I mentioned last week that I’ve been working with the winter collections in my stash lately and have a couple more pages to share with you today!
How cute is that sweater-inspired patterned paper (Silly Snowmen Paper) in the background?! I couldn’t resist using that one!
I loved the wood pattern included on some of the elements and decided to continue that on the page with a wood veneer title pulled from my stash. I used one of the frame pieces (Frames & Tags Ephemera) backed with 6×6 patterned paper to anchor the wood word on. Below it I placed the chipboard “All Bundled Up” banner piece.
A kraft colored envelope from my stash is a fun, textural home for my printed journal strips!
In the bottom left corner, you find a friendly snowman from the Cabin Fever Chipboard stickers waving a happy hello!

This second page features the Echo Park Paper A Perfect Winter collection. I loved working with this collection!
I love this red and blue plaid shirt that my son is wearing in the photo … because it coordinates perfectly with the plaid paper (Snowflake Flurry Paper) from this collection! Awesome, right?! *wink*
I dipped into my stash to create the title for this page using some older Marquise Thickers and my stamps (SHOCKER!!!!).
I wanted navy tile letter stickers for the word “First,” but couldn’t find any in my stash, so I decided to create my own! I used some letter stamps (I believe these ones are by Studio Calico) and white embossing powder on navy cardstock. It worked like a charm!
(Whenever I do something like this … I always think to myself, “Why don’t I do this more often?!” It was easy and gave me exactly what I wanted. Plus, it took no time at all!)
The gray cardstock border across the top of this page gets special treatment with a bit of debossing using a Snowflake Border embossing folder by Darice. I also added a glittery, silver pinked border below the red paper strip.
I’ve been using these snowflake die cuts from my stash on a lot of pages this week … and I still love them! Sometimes I get sick of using something after a few times and pass it along to a friend, but I am digging the size and shape of these. I will definitely hang on to them for more winter pages. 🙂
If you’d like to recreate the look of those large snowflakes, but don’t have any in your stash, you could also use a manual or electronic die cutting machine to create some!
Finally, to anchor this design, I created a little winter scene at the bottom using the Element Sticker sheet. Such a cute little penguin fellow! (I always gravitate towards the critters … have you noticed?! *wink*)
