Scrapbook Page: Spring Projects

I’ve blasted you with winter-themed pages this week, so how about we warm things up for the weekend with a springtime layout?!

Today, I am using one of the March 2018 PageMap sketches and the Photoplay Paper Spring in my Garden collection.

My husband is the BEST at getting our house into shape every spring. He is constantly working on our home to make it be the very best it can be and I wanted to honor his efforts on this page today.

I snapped this sporadic photo of him working on a project in the yard with my cell phone one day and decided to use it to accompany my journaling about him.

I used a chipboard frame and patterned paper scraps from my stash to mat my photo and then accented each corner with a cluster of the Spring in My Garden Element Stickers.

The sketch has a tag to the right of the photo, like I did here, but I wanted it to have a bit more presence, so I highlighted it with a couple of dovetailed strips of patterned paper behind it.

I pulled some alphabets from my stash for the title, but gave them additional personality with the Element Stickers and a couple of colorful buttons tied with white crochet twine.

  1. LOVE this page!!! The papers are so fun and the arrangement with the pennants and little tags tucked in are devine!
