Simple Stories: Good Vibes

Hello! I hope you are having a great week and enjoying your summer so far! My page today features a snapshot from one of our summer family traditions … eating snowcones!

GOOD VIBES

I mentioned earlier this month that a great way to keep up with your summer scrapping is to utilize sketches. I am taking my own advice and using another sketch by Laura Whitaker to kick off today’s page.

I’m also using the happy, bright, and fun Hello Summer collection by Simple Stories.

A bit of the Enjoy Summer washi tape with a few phrase stickers on top decorate each corner of this page.

I’ve fussy cut another title from the “Who’s Ready for Summer” paper and decorated a few of the letters with sunglasses. They are indeed “chillin'” as the scripty word sticker above the title suggests! Ha! But really, they are just playing it safe and protecting their eyes from the chipboard sun up in the corner. *wink*

I used lots of fussy-cut flowers from the Paradise Found paper on this page. I love the way they look peeking out among all of the 6×8 paper layers behind the photo.

The teal chevron paper included behind the photo and running down the right edge of the page is just a piece of older Pebbles paper I utilized from my scrap bin.

I love how this collection dresses up this everyday snapshot of my kids enjoying a summer treat. What everyday snapshot do you have hanging out on your phone or computer that deserves a page in your family scrapbook?
