Happy Friday to my lovely scrappy friends! The Die Cuts with a View (DCWV) Halloween paper pads are about to hit the store shelves and I was thrilled when they asked me if I would like to play with one of them. They sent me the adorable “Halloween Spirit” 12×12 Premium Paper Pad and I have my first project to share with you today.
The awesome thing about this paper pad, is that not only are there ADORABLE patterns, and several papers with foil accents, but in the back of the paper pad there is a sheet of coordinating stickers!!!
Two of them are used here at the top of the page … the owl and that scary spider flashing his fangs!
I used more of the stickers to create a cluster at the top left corner of my photos. I anchored the cute, little ghost and friendly Frankenstein on two spiderweb stickers and then backed the entire cluster with an American Crafts spiderweb doily.
In the lower right corner of the photos I fussy cut several elements from the patterned papers to layer up together. The owl with his speech bubbles are anchored on a coffin-shaped journal block.
Check out the gold foiling on that title block! Swoon!
The patterned paper with the word borders reminded me of CAUTION tape, so I stretched a few of the strips across the bottom of the page in a crime-scene-fashion to anchor my page design.
I’ll be back tomorrow with another fun project using this cute collection. I hope to see you then!
