Happy Friday to all of you! My friends at ScrapbookingStore.com contacted me recently and asked me to create a layout using their September 2018 scrapbook kit. This kit features the Beautiful Life collection by Echo Park Paper and was one I haven’t played with before. I loved the bright colors and actually ended up creating three layouts with this kit.

But first, ScrapbookingStore.com also sent me a coupon code for my readers. How nice was that?! If you’d like to check them out and try a kit for yourself, be sure to use the code listed above to receive 10% off your next order.

Now for my layouts … This first one is my favorite!

TODAY LET’S TRY RED

I used white cardstock from my stash for the base of each of these layouts. For this one, I started with a band of the yellow polka dot paper across the top and then layered two rows of tickets (fussy-cut from a patterned paper) along the seam.

Lately, I’m really loving creating stacked layer photo mats on my pages. All of the different patterns and colors peeking out here-and-there makes me so happy.

Add in some flowers and I’m a happy-scrappy girl!

For the title, I used the gold Thickers from the Add-On. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the letters for the word “RED” and then popped them up with foam squares.

I then added the journaling in a column below the photos and accented the bottom of the page with a thin strip of striped patterned paper and some of the stickers.

Next, I used this kit to scrapbook a few of my daughter’s graduation memories from a couple years ago.

CLASS OF 2016

I began this page by stacking together several of the papers in rows to create a colorful backdrop for my two photos.

I then accented the photos with fussy-cut doilies, 3×4 journaling Cards, and several stickers. Again, flowers and butterflies peek out in a few places adding lots of character.

I used the gold thickers again for the title on this page. I used my Cameo to cut out the “of” from navy blue cardstock from my stash.

A couple of fussy-cut rulers anchor the photos at the bottom and top of the page are a subtle nod to the school theme.

CONGRATS!

I couldn’t resist creating a page with all of the banner stickers from the sticker sheet. They were perfect for this page with the photographs I took of the decorations we put up in our kitchen for my daughter on the day of her high school graduation.

I used the smaller heart and flower stickers popped up on foam squares to add dimension to the banner.

The flowers were all fussy-cut from another patterned paper. I used Dandelion Yellow Nuvo Drops to add dimensional flower centers to a few of them.
