I’ve had so much fun working with the Celebrate Winter collection by Echo Park Paper. I have shared two layouts and 3 cards with this collection already! But what you may not know is that I just kept on going … challenging myself to create as many cards and layouts as I could with one collection kit.
To see the rest of the projects I created with this collection, check out the video below! Or feel free to scroll down to the images of two of the layouts at the bottom of this post.
One Christmas my mom gave all of the kids in the family long johns. Of course the girls had to immediately put them on and model them (*giggle*) and we snapped these silly shots of them.
A doily on winter-themed pages reminds me of a delicate snowflake. They are wonderful for adding subtle texture behind a photo or tucked in between paper layers.
I used a scalloped notecard that I picked up at Michaels’ one year to house my title. The red chipboard letters are by Doodlebug Design that I found at Tuesday Morning not too long ago. I added punched snowflakes from the Winter Wonderland paper to a few of the letter openings, accented with gems, for a bit of fun.
Mr. Penguin is standing by enjoying a cup of hot cocoa while watching the all the shenanigans!
This last page is a layout about my Sister-In-Law taking all of the cousins to a sledding park for the day as her Christmas present to them. The kids were all wearing different colors of coats, and so I opted to change the photos to black and white.
I always look for uniquely shaped journaling blocks to cut out and use as layers on my pages. This one came from the 3×4 Journaling Cards paper.
I used the same Doodlebug chipboard letters as the page above. The size and bright pop of red is so much fun!
What winter fun will you have this year? Document it with the Echo Park Paper Celebrate Winter collection.
Have you ever challenged yourself to create as many projects as you could with a collection kit? I had a lot of fun doing it and was amazed at what I was able to accomplish. Give it a go!
