I picked up these gold chipboard, nested hearts from JoAnn’s this past spring and thought they would look so pretty on this page of my daughter going to Senior Prom. Her dress was a soft, mauve-purple, and looks so pretty with the Crate Paper Gather collection that I am using here.
I had quite a bit of space at the top of the page that I wanted to fill, but I didn’t want to cover up the heart paper. I tucked a couple of ephemera die cut cards behind the main photo and then added a hand-stitched circle around my design.
The open hearts were a fun place to anchor my journaling strips.
I fussy-cut the flowers and ticket borders for this page from patterned papers in the collection. The tickets layered together made a great “shelf” for the title and photos.
This page turned out so pretty! I can’t wait to do more stashbusting with this collection!
