For the month of May in the Simple Stories GET CREATIVE! retreat group, I issued a colorstory challenge. This is the layout that I create with a mixture of Simple Stories collection and embellishments from the Full Bloom collection.
To begin my design, I cut several scraps of paper into rectangles and layered them in a column.
The Full Bloom Floral Bits came in handy as I filled out the corner of each page. I also add die-cut clouds, chipboard sun, and Decorative Brads.
I love the POP of yellow from the Foam Stickers title. A little bird sings ‘hello!’ atop the letter ‘O’.
A few of the tags from the Tags Paper are layered together to hold the journaling.
Mix in some Coral, Grey, and Mint Color Vibe cardstock and you’re set!
