Happy Valentine’s Day to you! It’s the day of hugs and kisses and I have a couple of lovey-dovey projects to share with you using my Silhouette Cameo machine.

LOVE FRAME

This first project is just a sweet little home decor item that you can create to brighten up a corner of your home, or as a gift for a friend to display in their home.

I cut out the heart puzzle images on several 6×6 patterned papers from the Carta Bella It’s a Girl collection. I also added an offset white cardstock layer underneath to help them POP a bit. They are adhered to the background paper with thin foam squares.

I then added the script “love” word on top, and adorned the corners with a pretty floral image.

I WHALEY LOVE YOU Gift Box & Card

Isn’t this little whale favor box adorable?!! He was pretty easy to put together. You can find him in the Silhouette Store. I added some hearts on thin wires as his water spout for a Valentine touch.

A sweet little Whale card to accompany him was the perfect touch! I cut the sentiment out of black vinyl to make adhering the sentiment easy-peasy.

He opens up so you can place a yummy treat inside!

I added glitter paper for his tale for a touch of sparkle! … Everything “holiday” looks better with a touch of sparkle, don’t ya think? *giggle*

Bella Blvd. February Guest Designer

jana-eubank-bella-blvd-barynard-layout-4-600

This month I am the Guest Designer on the Bella Blvd. Blog. I have always loved Bella Blvd’s products and had a great time playing with three of their current collections.

This first page.features two of my daughters and the You Are Loved Illustrated Faith collection.

I used white cardstock as the base of my layout, spritzing it with a bit of teal spray mist, stitching the edges and matting it with a couple of the patterned papers before adding my photos and the other elements.
jana-eubank-you-are-loved-sisters-layout-2-600
I used the Heavens Paper to set off my main photo and then added  a couple of pennants, clear cuts, and a die cut flower to the bottom.
jana-eubank-you-are-loved-sisters-layout-3-600
On the left side of my page, I used the letter stickers to spell out my title, stitching the letters down with my sewing machine for a little more texture.
jana-eubank-you-are-loved-sisters-layout-4-600
At the bottom of my page, I added a clear cut flower and a clear cut XOXO border, that I also added stitching to.

I have had this next photo waiting for the perfect papers to scrap it with for a few years now … I was delighted to receive the Barnyard Collection and knew it would be perfect for this fun memory about my daughter dressing up as a farmer for Career Day at her school
jana-eubank-bella-blvd-barynard-layout-1-600
At the top of the page, I layered a couple of the cloud die cuts along with some pennants and hearts to give the sun in the corner a little more dimension. I added red gems to the hearts for a bit of sparkle.
jana-eubank-bella-blvd-barynard-layout-2-600
For the title, I used the “Smile” acrylic word along the bottom of my photo. I accented the left side with a broccoli die cut and radish puffy sticker.
jana-eubank-bella-blvd-barynard-layout-3-600
In the bottom right corner of the page, I used die cuts to cover up the pre-printed pattern and create my own little dimensional farm scene. How cute is that chicken and bushel of apples?! I added my journaling on journaling strips created with my computer and sprinkled in a few punched hearts adorned with red gems.

I love how happy and bright this page turned out!

The final page I have for you today features the adorable Secrets of the Sea Collection.
jana-eubank-bella-blvd-secrets-of-the-sea-swim-layout-1-600
A few years ago we visited the Outerbanks of North Carolina. And even though the beach was literally across the street, my kids and their cousins seemed to prefer the ease of the swimming pool. I think it was nice to have snacks and shade just a few footsteps away, and they also enjoyed now having sand everywhere. LOL!
jana-eubank-bella-blvd-secrets-of-the-sea-swim-layout-2-600
To draw focus to my main photo, I placed the title along the bottom edge along with a little ocean scene created with the die cuts, stickers, and puffy stickers.
jana-eubank-bella-blvd-secrets-of-the-sea-swim-layout-3-600
I ADORE the embossed nature of the puffy stickers and couldn’t resist sprinkling those darling, little blue fish everywhere!
jana-eubank-bella-blvd-secrets-of-the-sea-swim-layout-4-600
I placed the larger photos in a vertical column on the page, using one of the 4×6 cut apart cards to ground my journaling strips.
jana-eubank-bella-blvd-secrets-of-the-sea-swim-layout-5-600
The clips, die cuts, and fish puffy sticker were perfect for adorning the “empty” corners of my photo.

Queen & Co: Hello Cutie Layout

jana-eubank-queen-co-heart-throb-kit-hello-cutie-layout-4-600
My first Queen & Co. project is up on the Queen & Co. Blog! With three daughters in my home, I knew the Queen & Co. Heart Throb kit would be the perfect fit for creating something about my girls.
jana-eubank-queen-co-heart-throb-kit-hello-cutie-layout-1-600
I selected these photos of my daughter on her birthday last year and used her shirt as inspiration for my title. I used the acrylic “hello” script word from the kit along with letters I cut (using the ZP Periwinkle font by Lettering Delights) from glitter paper using my electronic die cut machine.
jana-eubank-queen-co-heart-throb-kit-hello-cutie-layout-2-600
I cut the 6×6 papers into strips and then adhered them to the page side by side, disguising the seams behind my photos. The horizontal bands help give the photos a place to “rest.”
I typed my journaling on a journal card that I pulled from my stash. Here is a closer look at what it says.
jana-eubank-queen-co-heart-throb-kit-hello-cutie-layout-3-600
My favorite part of this page is at the bottom where I had fun playing with the shaker elements of the kit. I die cut the bottom heart from pink cardstock (border) and the blue/white striped paper (insert) from the 6×6 Heart Throb paper pad.
Next, I created a dimensional shaker heart, using the gray floral paper for the background, and pink glitter paper for the border. Inside I added the large pink sequins, small white sequins, the dark pink heart toppings, the blue floral toppings, and a sprinkle of the new diamond topping. You always need to add a little sparkle and shine to a girl’s page, right?!
jana-eubank-queen-co-heart-throb-kit-hello-cutie-layout-4-600
I added the “Love You Forever” sentiment sticker across the top of the heart with foam squares. The page is finished off with a sprinkling of heart sequins and enamel dots around the hearts and title. So cute!

Echo Park Paper: Valentine Door Hanger

jana-eubank-valentine-doorhanger-photo-4-600
You gotta love a holiday that breaks up the winter doldrums with the purpose of telling everyone around you that you love and appreciate them! For that reason, Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays!
I’m up on the Echo Park Paper Blog today with a sweet little treat door hanger all dressed up for the Valentine holiday!
jana-eubank-valentine-doorhanger-photo-1-600
I used the  Echo Park Paper Happiness is Homemade collection for this project, pulling out the shades of pink, red, yellow and blue.
I used my Silhouette Cameo machine and a door hanger cut file I found in the Silhouette store (#52311) to cut out the base of this project. I used the Solid Pink/Cream coordinating paper for the base and then used papers from the 6×6 paper pad for the accent panels.
jana-eubank-valentine-doorhanger-photo-2-600
I hand cut several of the flower clusters from the Fresh Baked Floral Paper to use as accents around the acetate window on the front of the door hanger, as well as on the handle.
jana-eubank-valentine-doorhanger-photo-3-600
I then layered together a few of the stickers from the Element Sticker Sheet to tell the recipient how fabulous I think they are! Buttons and a sparkly yellow brad (I Love Family Decorative Brads) add texture and dimension.
jana-eubank-valentine-doorhanger-photo-4-600
The top of the door hanger is capped off with a cheery, yellow bow with a red button in the center along with a couple of tags. The woodgrain “Sweet Like Sugar” tag is from the Alpha Sticker sheet and the “Made with Love” tag was handcut from the Made with Love paper.

I can’t wait to leave this for someone and surprise them on Valentine’s Day! So fun!
