The One Canoe Two Twilight collection by American Crafts makes the prettiest projects for Spring! I recently used this collection to create gift boxes filled with store bought chocolates as thank you gifts.
The soft, pretty colors of the patterned papers with white die cut flowers on top would also be beautiful to use as wedding or baby shower favors … or even as decorations on your Easter dinner table.
I used several metal dies from my stash to create the flowers on top using white American Crafts cardstock. They get a splash of pink with the flower center cut from a scrap of coral pink paper and are secured with a pearl brad.
I also fussy-cut several flowers and leaves from the Twilight Blooms paper to tuck in with the white die cut flowers.
The flowers are adhered to a patterned paper band going around the matchbox-style box. Before adding the flowers, I wrapped white twine around the band several times to add a bit of texture.
I finished each box with a note to the recipient written on the coordinating Twilight Mini Notecards. So cute! (If you haven’t seen these cards yet, be sure to check them out! They come in the cutest little house-shaped box that will be displayed forever on my shelf … it’s ADORABLE!)
Thanks for stopping by!
I love a beautiful outdoor wedding in the summertime! Create a crisp, white gazebo adorned with flowers to collect wedding cards at your next wedding celebration … or maybe even use this as a special gift box! The Echo Park Paper Wedding Bliss collection
is perfect for this!
The box opens up so that you can place electronic lights inside, if you would like. Here you can see the vellum adhered to the inside of the box with the pattern facing inwards.
On the bottom portion of the box, I created another cluster of embellishments with more die cut leaves and two more Mini Paper Fans
. I added a couple of enamel dots
to the center of one of the paper fans for a bit of shine. I added the “I Do” sticker
to the center of the other one.
Another great use for this project would be to use it as a centerpiece of a table; either at a wedding, on a small table along with the guest book, or maybe as a fun decoration for a bridal shower. There are so many possibilities!

Hi Friends! I’ve been on a roll lately with my scrapping and blogging. I’ll take advantage of that … I’m sure it will shift a bit as the months get warmer and the days get a bit busier.
As a reminder, I post my work here on my blog, as well as Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. So feel free to follow me on whatever platform you enjoy using the most!
SHE IS TRULY LOVELY
A little while ago I purchased several pieces of the 1Canoe2 Hazelwood collection. At the scrapbook store where I purchased it, they had the Pink Paislee C’est La Vie line next to it and it looked so lovely together! I hadn’t picked up any of that Pink Paislee line as of yet, so I purchased some of it and have combined these two collections together on the next three pages I’ll be sharing with you this week. This is the first of the bunch.
This page features my adorable sister-in-law at her bridal shower a couple of years ago. I adore Jessi! And I’m so glad she is a part of our family. She proves that my brother has a head on his shoulders … Haha! … because she is that amazing! She is the most kind-hearted, hardest working, sweetest person I have ever met. My brother is a lucky guy!
I fussy-cut lots of florals and butterflies to use on this page. I love when you can get a lot of mileage out of patterned paper like that!
I used the Pink Paislee “Take Me Away” Thicker phrase for my title along with some older tile letter stickers by My Mind’s Eye.
I left the checked branding strip on this page, opting to trim 1/2″ off the top of the paper instead. I stitched along it and love the contrast of pattern and color it adds.
