Project Life Happy

Another Project Life set that Lisa Bearnson sold on last month’s 24-Hour Craft day was the Happy edition. Unfortunately, this edition sold out right away, but I still wanted to share the pages I made with it. This set was sold exclusively in Australia and was offered for the first time in the US on HSN. I’m not sure if it is available anywhere else at the moment. 😦 It’s too bad. I loved this kit and would love for you to own it, too! If I hear or read anything about it being available somewhere, I will be sure to let you know.

But if you are like me and like to add all of the additional doo-dads and die cuts … you can spend a little more time raiding your stash and make your pocket pages look like this.

More Project Life Azure Pages!

Happy Monday, Friends! Last week I shared a couple of projects with you created with the adorable Azure Project Life Kit available on HSN.com. Today, I have three more spreads to share with you using the same collection.

This first page features some photos from my kids’ last day of school last year.

I love adding die cuts (created with my Silhouette Cameo machine) and embellishments to each card. Can you tell I love buttons? Hehe!

 

See the white letters going across the photo of my family in the dune buggy? That is one of the overlays included in the kit. It’s a sheet of 4×6 clear acetate that you just slide in front of your photo … no adhering, nothing. Easy peasy as could beasy!

Here is a page spread where I pulled out the blues of the kit. The colors go great with our photos from visiting a mountain cabin and the local dinosaur musuem … these colors would be great for masculine page spreads, too!

On this last page, I pulled out the reds from the kit to create a page using photos from Valentine’s Day.

The great thing about this kit is that it also includes 12 x 12 patterned papers for those of you who like to create coordinating scrapbook pages inserted throughout your Project Life Album.

Project Life Azure Projects

If you are a Project Life fan, you might want to check out the Project Life Azure Core Kit with Paper and Photo Overlays available on HSN.com. The contents of this configuration include the Azure Core Kit, 24 sheets of coordinating designer patterned paper (2 each of each design), 12 Azure dividers (with white label stickers), and 12 overlays. The designs in this kit stole my heart from the minute I laid eyes on them! I LOVE the colors! Here is a closer look at everything.

Don’t you just love all of the colors and designs?! I love how versatile they are … I can see myself using these for everyday memories, school memories, pulling out colors for certain holidays (red/white/blue for the 4th of July, or the reds for Valentine’s Day/Christmas), and using the cards for feminine OR masculine pages.

There is also a coordinating 12 x 12 Azure album available HERE. (Sorry, my pics seriously don’t capture the absolute CUTENESS of this album … but I tried. 🙂 )

 

If you are new to Project Life the great thing about these cards is that you can tuck them into the page protectors, jot down your journaling, and leave them AS IS, like I have done here.

 

Or you can spend more time embellishing the cards with items from your stash and digital die cut files, like I did below.

 

See those cute little puffy heart and ladybug stickers? I snagged those in the craft section at Walmart. Aren’t they adorable?! I’ll definitely be going back for more. 🙂

I had fun creating button polka dots on this side of the spread.

 

And then added a few more buttons on the right side to balance things out. The photo corners on all of the photos are just made from coordinating cardstock, using a photo corner punch. I adhered them directly to the photos for a different look.

Last Round of Pocket Pages … For Now

I’m back with my last round of 2013 Pocket Pages … well, for now. 🙂 I still have a couple of holiday spreads to wrap up that I might share with you somewhere down the road. But I’m in the mood to do some Valentine crafting … so I’ll have to come back to those. Here are the last three spreads I have to share with you.

GROWING UP

In Utah we celebrate our statehood on July 24th, so again, lots of red/white/blue on this page to coincide with our parade celebration that week. I used all kinds of cards on this page. The title card is actually a recipe card that I received in a Noel Mignon kit several years ago. I also have Scraptastic Club cards and a card by Me & My Big Ideas. The stars, blue calendar tape, blue gems, and “LOVE” clip are again from an Oh Deer Me Kit (by Freckled Fawn). The “instaSummer”  and “Good Stuff” stamps are from Citrus Twist kits.

The July 2013 card is missing a photo, but I’ve pencilled in the journaling for now. I’ll finish that card off once I have a few minutes to locate the picture I want from files. We sold our car that week, and I’m going to miss it terribly … I know I have a pic of it somewhere … just need to make time to search for it. 🙂

HALLOWEEN

For this spread, I used a bunch of Bella Blvd. items I had left over from my Guest Design spot for them this past fall. I love the happy, whimsical feel of their collections.

I sprinkled in some leftover Halloween embellishments from my stash. The epoxy brads are by My Mind’s Eye, and the metal spider, Boo phrase, and Halloween paperclip are from Adornit. There are also a few cutouts by Elle’s Studio.

WINTER MEMORIES

This last spread feature pocket cards by Crate Paper. The designs were so cute that I didn’t feel like I needed too much embellishing.

The title on the first card is a mix of a digital die cut word (Winter) with Bella Blvd pink letter stickers. The “First Snowball” pennant, pink date label, and banners (on the second page) are cutouts by Elle’s Studio. The bottlecaps are from an old Valentine We R Memory Keepers collection.

I used a tag cut out (Crate Paper) and created the title with SUPAH-old Making Memories letter stickers. The bottom left card is an invite that I cut to 4″x 6″ and slipped in to remember what we did that weekend (I didn’t take any photos … BAD scrapper!). On the spaces with the smaller photos, I dug through my 6×6 paper stash and just cut them to size to use as backgrounds. The smaller patterns work great here.
