Yum, yum … give me some! Are you going to a Halloween party this year? Maybe you’re in charge of bringing cupcakes to the office party, or your child’s class party? I always love a festive cupcake (Mmmmm!) … especially when it comes dressed for the occasion!
Today I have a fun twist on the classic cupcake topper … Shaker Cupcake Toppers!
Spellbinders and Scrapbook.com were kind enough to send me a Platinum 6 die cut machine and a couple of their die sets to play with! Last week, I shared a quick and easy gift idea using the Textured Flowers die.
Today, I am playing with the Witch on Broom dies!
When I saw that witch, I knew right away that I wanted her to be flying across a spooky moon … and then I saw the bats! What if I create a moon shaker with the bats inside?!!! YES!!!! … So that is exactly what I did.
I added them to the top of decorative straws in Halloween colors, and then added ribbons and square buttons tied with black twine. The witch, double-cut and layered in orange foil and black cardstock, floats across the front of the moon shaker with the help of a few foam dots.
I created some cupcake wrappers with my Silhouette Cameo 3 machine to coordinate. So cute!
They look absolutely adorable all grouped together for the party guests!
What a fun (and delicious) way to add a festive touch to your Halloween food table!
A BIG THANK YOU to Spellbinders and Scrapbook.com for sending me these fun things to play with! I LOVED working with these supplies, and have discovered a new favorite manual die cut machine!
*Take me out to the ballllll-game! Take me out with the crowd!!!*
Hello, Friends! I’m up on the Bella Blvd. Blog today with a process video showing you how to create a Baseball themed Popcorn Box using the brand new Bella Blvd. Baseball collection!
I am LOVING these adorable new sports collections! I think they would be so much fun to not only document your child’s sports memories, but how cute are they for creating treat boxes for team mates or to thank that special coach?!
I love the felt pennants adhered to wooden skewers adorning the top of this project!
Add a quick and easy tag to the top of your treat by simply layering a few Ephemera die cuts together, punching a hole in the top, and tying it to your package using a bit of twine.
The Ephemera die cuts look so cute layered together to decorate the front of the box. I added puffy stars stickers (Bell Pepper Mix) to the centers of the star die cuts for a bit more interest. I also added twine, and used different levels of foam squares for each piece. I love the way it looks!
Do you have a sports lover in your life that would love a gift like this? Tuck in a jersey, some baseball cards, or even a ticket to their favorite teams’ game!
See you again soon!
Happy Valentine’s Day to you! It’s the day of hugs and kisses and I have a couple of lovey-dovey projects to share with you using my Silhouette Cameo machine.
This first project is just a sweet little home decor item that you can create to brighten up a corner of your home, or as a gift for a friend to display in their home.
I cut out the heart puzzle images on several 6×6 patterned papers from the Carta Bella It’s a Girl collection. I also added an offset white cardstock layer underneath to help them POP a bit. They are adhered to the background paper with thin foam squares.
I then added the script “love” word on top, and adorned the corners with a pretty floral image.

I WHALEY LOVE YOU Gift Box & Card
Isn’t this little whale favor box adorable?!! He was pretty easy to put together. You can find him in the Silhouette Store. I added some hearts on thin wires as his water spout for a Valentine touch.
A sweet little Whale card to accompany him was the perfect touch! I cut the sentiment out of black vinyl to make adhering the sentiment easy-peasy.
He opens up so you can place a yummy treat inside!
I added glitter paper for his tale for a touch of sparkle! … Everything “holiday” looks better with a touch of sparkle, don’t ya think? *giggle*

Wishing you a very Happy Valentine’s Day! I LOVE my readers! And LOVE this creative community! I’m so glad we have the opportunity to inspired and uplift each other this way!
Have a great day!
You gotta love a holiday that breaks up the winter doldrums with the purpose of telling everyone around you that you love and appreciate them! For that reason, Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays!
I’m up on the Echo Park Paper Blog
today with a sweet little treat door hanger all dressed up for the Valentine holiday!
I hand cut several of the flower clusters from the Fresh Baked Floral Paper
to use as accents around the acetate window on the front of the door hanger, as well as on the handle.
The top of the door hanger is capped off with a cheery, yellow bow with a red button in the center along with a couple of tags. The woodgrain “Sweet Like Sugar” tag is from the Alpha Sticker sheet
and the “Made with Love” tag was handcut from the Made with Love paper
I can’t wait to leave this for someone and surprise them on Valentine’s Day! So fun!
