I recently picked up the Simple Stories Flea Market collection and am loving the girly pink and teal color scheme. Today I am sharing my first layout with this collection. Let’s take a look!

GOOD STUFF
My daughter was so excited when her Church Primary Class teacher invited her and her classmates to help out at her upcoming wedding reception as servers. My daughter has always wanted to help out at a wedding and now was her chance.
Since she was serving cake and clearing plates at the wedding, I thought the plate icons would make a fun embellishment for this scrapbook page about this event.

I fussy-cut several different plates from the Oh, Yes Please paper and grouped them along the bottom of my design. I also used a journal block from the Journal Elements paper.

On the right side of the photo, I layered together a couple of tickets from the Journal Bits. I stamped the date on one of them, then added staples as accents.

I used the ‘Good Stuff’ phrase from the Foam Stickers for a quick-and-easy title. The bright pink color repeats the color of my daughter’s dress in the photo.

A few Floral Bits interspersed between the fussy-cut plates break things up a bit. I also added some foam hearts (Foam Stickers) and clusters of enamel dots for texture and dimension.

I love the way all of the circular plates look along the bottom of this design. This would be a fun design to repeat with punched patterned paper circles or even flowers.
Thanks for coming by today! I hope you found some inspiration for your next scrapbook page!
