Echo Park Paper: Baby Boy Bottle Box and Baby Shoes

It’s been a long time since we have had a baby in our home, and that makes creating baby projects extra fun! Especially, using the NEW Sweet Baby Boy collection! Today’s project is a fun baby bottle gift box with matching 3D paper shoes.
Use the bottle to hold a gift card or small gift and add some candy (every new mom needs chocolate, right?!) to the accompanying baby shoes! I think they would look so cute packaged together in a cellophane bag tied with a pretty ribbon! You could even use this set as decor for a baby shower. Let’s take a closer look!

I created the baby shoes using a cut file that I found in the Silhouette Design Store (Baby Sneaker by Daniela Moscone). The cut file includes one shoe. To create the pair of shoes, I simply copied all of the pieces and then reversed them in the Silhouette Design Software using the Object>Mirror>Flip Horizontally command.
After assembling the shoe, I laced them up with some teal baker’s twine and attached the “Baby Boy” tag from the Frames & Tags Ephemera pack.

This bottle box by SVGCuts.com is very easy to put together. I used foam squares to give the decorative panels and the label on the front dimension.
I used a variety of Echo Park Paper dies to create the label. The base of the shape was created using the Stitched Label Nesting Die. I matted this on solid yellow paper (6×6 paper pad) and then used the cloud from the Spring Weather Die Set to create a place for the stork sticker (Element Stickers) to stand on. The “Cute as a Button” die cut is also from the Frames & Tags Ephemera pack.
Finally, I used the Big Sky Saloon Alphabet Die Set to add the word “Baby.” Try adding the name of the baby here, too!

I hope you enjoyed these sweet baby projects and found some inspiration to create a project for the new baby in your life.

Studio 5: FREEBIE Valentine’s Day Door Hanger Cut File

Today I have something really fun to share! I was invited on Studio 5 with Brooke Walker (a local lifestyle television show) to present a variety of Valentine’s Day papercrafting ideas. I have been playing in a sea of pink and red and wanted to share those creations with you today!

(CLICK HERE TO VIEW MY TV SEGMENT ON STUDIO 5)

First, here is a quick look at all of the projects!

One of my favorite Valentine’s Day traditions from when I was a girl was when we would make sugar cookies and then take them around the neighborhood, doorbell ditching each home and leaving the sweet treat on their doorstep.

I am determined to bring this fun tradition back! So I created a Valentine’s Day Door Hanger Cut File to share with all of YOU!

Jana Eubank - Studio 5 - Valentine Cookie Door Hanger Box 1 600

This box is about 1″ deep, allowing you to put in a couple of sugar cookies (I placed mine in a cellophane bag tied with a ribbon) or another treat of your choice!

The file includes decorative panels to decorate the box, as well as this adorable stacked heart embellishment for the front. I stitched the hearts together and then fluffed up each layer to give it some dimension. (You could also staple the hearts together if you don’t happen to own a sewing machine.)

Jana Eubank - Studio 5 - Valentine Cookie Door Hanger Box 2 600

There is also a cute, scalloped tag, a place to write a greeting on the back of the door hanger, and the word “LOVE” (hand-lettered by yours truly) included with the cut file!

Echo Park Paper: The Cookies Were Hung by the Chimney with Care

Delivering delicious, homemade treats to neighbors and friends is one of those iconic holiday traditions that I adore. If you are going to take the time to take a treat, why not package them in an adorable way while you are at it?!
Jana Eubank Echo Park Twas the Night Before Christmas Stocking Box 1 600
Jana Eubank Echo Park Twas the Night Before Christmas Stocking Box 2 600
I used the Dk. Blue/Gold Solid Paper for the bottom of the box, and then created the top with patterned papers from the Volume 2 Collection.
The window allows a peek inside to the homemade goodies. You can use several types of materials for the window; re-purposed clear packaging, a sheet protector, or a transparency. I chose to use a heavy-weight clear presentation report cover. These can be purchased at your local office supply or copy store.
Jana Eubank Echo Park Twas the Night Before Christmas Stocking Box 3 600
The top of the stocking is decorated with die cuts from the Ephemera and Frames & Tags Ephemera packs. I also used the Jolly Branch Trio Die set to cut several pine branches from a green 6×6 patterned paper. They look so festive mixed in with the poinsettia and greenery handcut from the Berry Christmas paper.
Jana Eubank Echo Park Twas the Night Before Christmas Stocking Box 4 600
The die cuts have added dimension with a few of the small chipboard word stickers and the shiny enamel dots. The gold glitter enamel dot made the perfect flower center for the poinsettia!
Jana Eubank Echo Park Twas the Night Before Christmas Stocking Box 5 600
At the bottom of the stocking I created a pennant strip from 6×6 patterned papers to anchor the “Noel” chipboard piece. A couple of handcut pinecones from the Berry Christmas paper are the perfect accents!

Everyone loves homebaked goods during the holidays! This stocking box would be the perfect way to deliver them. I hope you feel inspired to create your own holiday treat packaging!

Echo Park Paper: Under the Sea Beach Tote & Flip Flops

Do you know someone who could use a little pick me up this summer? Create this fun beach tote and two flip flop boxes with the Echo Park Paper Under the Sea collection to give to them, and they will be feeling “sun-sational” in no time!
Jana Eubank Under the Sea Beach Tote Flip Flops 1 600
I created this beach tote and the two flip flop boxes using my Silhouette Cameo machine.
The beach tote comes from the Luxury Handbags SVG Set by SVGCuts.com. Isn’t it absolutely adorable! This is the kind of shape I could cut out again and again and decorate it a different way each and every time! I love how roomy it is, too!
I cut the main body of the beach bag from the dark blue Sea Explorers Paper with a sunny orange polka dotted pocket (Deep Sea Fun Paper). The yellow accents were cut from the Coordinating Yellow/Blue Solid Paper and the striped bottom is the Swimmingly Stripe Paper.
Jana Eubank Under the Sea Beach Tote Flip Flops 4 600
Of course I had a blast decorating the front of the bag with all kinds of die cuts (Frames & Tags Ephemera) and stickers from the Element Sticker Sheet. I just love that happy yellow submarine and all of the sea creatures!
Jana Eubank Under the Sea Beach Tote Flip Flops 3 600
I couldn’t resist creating a couple of flip flop boxes to tuck inside. I used the orange dotted Deep Sea Fun Paper along with the navy striped side of the 3×4 Journaling Cards Paper. The top of the flip flop is decorated with the fish pattern from the 6×6 paper pad.
Jana Eubank Under the Sea Beach Tote Flip Flops 2 600
Won’t it be fun to fill the flip flop boxes with a treat and tuck them inside of the beach tote?! I plan to stick a few other treats inside, as well. I can’t wait to see the face of the person I give it to!
