Christmas is a time for traditions and today’s page features one of those for my kids … creating a candy train at school! I pulled out the “A Perfect Christmas” collection to document this fun day for my daughter.

One of my favorite papers in this collection is the Merry Mistletoe paper. I love florals that I can cut out and use as accents on my layouts. I used several on this page and then added die cut pine branches behind them for more texture and depth.

Besides snowflakes, pine boughs are my favorite dies to use at Christmas time! This one comes from the Be Merry Branch Die Set in this collection. Isn’t it gorgeous cut from the Classic Green Felt Designer Cardstock?!

This fun embellishment cluster features my kids’ favorite part of Christmas … the presents! I added enamel dots to the center of each bow for a bit of shine.

What school traditions have been carried through each child in your family? Do they deserve a spot in your memory book?

I love this LO. Can you explain what a candy train is? I’ve never heard of that holiday activity before.
