Echo Park Paper: Calorie-Free Cake!

You won’t derail your New Year’s resolutions with this calorie-free project … check it out! This cake slice gift box is perfect for young and old girls alike. Young girls will have fun using the box after their special day in their play kitchen; while older gals in your life will be glad to have a calorie-free way to enjoy this classic birthday treat!
I used the Echo Park Paper Happy Birthday Girl collection and my Silhouette Cameo electronic die cutting machine to create the cake-shaped box (cut file by SVGCuts.com), and then make a coordinating greeting card to go along with it!

The bright multi-colored dot paper mimics the look of a vanilla confetti cake and the pink “swirled” frosting created with the 3X4 Journaling Cards paper tops it off. Doesn’t it make your mouth water?! Adorn the candle with a ribbon bow and a tag die cut (Ephemera Pack) decorated with Element Stickers.

A sweet unicorn with a bouquet of happy balloons is the star of this card, and reminds the recipient to be sure to make a birthday wish!
