Damask Decor Projects

It’s not often that I’m lucky enough to get a snapshot of all 4 of my children together. Not only that, . . . when I do, it’s a rare occasion that they are all looking at the camera and looking “normal”. Hehehe!  On this particular day, I even captured them dressed up in their Sunday Best as we were heading out the door to church . . . BONUS! 😀 So here are my 4 cuties . . . all together in one picture . . . imagine that!

I scrapbooked this page using papers by Pink Paislee and my Cricut Expression machine. The large doily and flourish cuts are from the Damask Decor cartridge and the “E” monogram cut is from Tie the Knot cartridge. I added several KaiserCraft pearls in graduating sizes to accent the flourish and add some color. The Making Memories journal block is an oldie-but-goodie that I have had in my stash forever.

I also created a wedding card using the Damask Decor cartridge. This cartridge has the most beautiful, elegant card images that are so much fun to layer other elements on top of. The banner and sentiment stamps are from Pink Persimmon. The flower is by Prima. The pink pearl flourish is by Zva Creative. The small floral stickers are by Jolee’s Boutique and finally, the stick pins are by Maya Road.

Father’s Day 2-Pager

Every month on the Cricut Circle Blog one of our DT members creates a 2-Page layout complete with a Gypsy File to download. In June it was my turn to come up with a design so I created this Father’s Day 2-Page Layout using the Cricut Exclusive Cartridge, Pop-Up Neighborhood. All I need to do is add photos!

Box Houses & On the Farm Layout

One summer when I was a kid, my best friend across our culdesac got new appliances for their kitchen. Her parents gave the boxes to us and we had a BLAST creating our very own house complete with windows and doors. That house must have kept us occupied a good three weeks! I LOVED that thing! Well, over the weekend we set up a new patio furniture set in our backyard. The kids could not WAIT to have those big boxes all to themselves. My husband dragged them down to the basement and they spent the rest of the day (and evening . . . they stayed up until midnight!) creating their house and setting up for a sleepover in their box house. LOL!

This morning my Kindergartner said to me, “Mom! It is so much fun sleeping in a box!” Hehehehe! Too cute! I think all the fun finally caught up with her because here is where I found her at lunchtime. Ahhhhh, memories! 😀

I have mentioned before how much fun I have been having creating little scenes on my scrapbook pages with my Cricut cartridges. Last quarter’s Cricut Circle Exclusive cartridge, Pop-Up Neighborhood Cartridge, is PERFECT for these types of pages. Here is one of my daughter’s School Field Trip to a local Dairy Farm.
