You Hold My Heart

Happy Monday and Day-After-Christmas! I hope you had a beautiful, cozy Christmas with your family and friends celebrating the birth of our Savior and all the blessings in your life that come from Him.

Our day was great! We opened presents in the morning, went to church, and then came home for a relaxing day of playing with new toys/games, watching holiday TV programs, napping, and eating a delicious ham dinner. It was simple . . . and perfect. 🙂

I couldn’t wait to dig into a gift I treated myself . . . the NEW Noel Mignon Cabin Fever kit. My heart was feeling full thinking about all my blessings and so I decided to scrap this page about four of them . . . my kids. 🙂

I look these pictures of my kids last January to fill some frames in our hallway . . . and just realized that I never scrapped them. The color range of this kit is so perfect with its pinks, creams, blues . . . It’s soft, yet cozy with the kraft papers and hues of brown. I love the way the pink patterned paper looks peeking through those woodgrain letters.

And those snowflake transparencies?! I wish I would’ve have ordered extras of those . . . the kit includes a bunch of them, but I can see myself wanting to splash those across every winter page this year. They are beautiful and I don’t think I would ever get tired of using them! 🙂

The kids are off from school this week and we have a whole list of activities we hope to do together as a family. I can’t wait! We hope to do some bowling, visit more holiday light displays, eat out at our favorite restaurants, and see a few movies.

See you again soon! And don’t forget to leave a comment on the My Mind’s Eye Blog Hop post below for your chance to win a My Mind’s Eye prize.
