Cricut: The Official Blog

Happy Friday to you! I, for one, am ready for the weekend to be here! The kids and I have been running around non-stop with end-of-year activities, work, and more. I’m ready to just chill out in front of the TV and catch up on my DVR’d shows, snuggle with my kids, and enjoy some family time. What do you have going on this weekend?

Today I have a new page to share with you. This page was created using the Cricut Best Images of 2010 Cartridge. This is one of the NEW releases that was announced by Cricut last month. I LOVE that Provo Craft is putting together “Best Of” cartridges! What a great way for a new Cricut user to get a sampling of all past cartridges and try them all out. (To see projects using the other “Best of” cartridges and additional NEW releases, be sure to check out the Hello Thursday post on the Cricut Blog HERE.) The cute cake image was originally included on the Birthday Bash Cartridge (one of my favorite cartridges for banner images!)  and the unicorn image is from the Once Upon A Princess cartridge (if you have a little girl, this one is a must-have).

MAKE A WISH

SUPPLIES: Cricut Expression Machine, Cricut Best of 2010 Cartridge, Cardstock (Prism), Patterned Paper (My Mind’s Eye); Layered Stickers & Chipboard Elements (My Mind’s Eye), Rhinestones (My Mind’s Eye), Pink Chipboard Letter Stickers (Bella Blvd), Sewing Supplies, Scallop Border Punch

I used mostly the Fine & Dandy “Tickled Pink” collection by My Mind’s Eye, with the exception of the pink polka dot background paper (My Mind’s Eye Alphabet Soup Girl collection) and the cream patterned paper on the Unicorn (My Mind’s Eye Lost & Found “Portobello Road” collection).

I have to giggle at these pictures of Camryn because she is looking a little haggard. Her birthday is on July 3rd and we had just got home from a 4th of July Fireworks show. Her hair is falling out, but you can still see that birthday excitement on her face as she anticipates blowing out those candles. LOVE my girl! 🙂

I also have another project being shown on the Cricut Blog today . . . an Advice for the Graduate Mini Book. To see more pictures of the project and to read more about it, be sure to stop by the Cricut Blog.
